Look out for that..
I did my good deed for the day. I saved a painted turtle from utter destruction. On my way to my cousin’s house, I spied a turtle crossing the road. I looked at T and told her I needed to help it. So, I parked the car with our sleeping babies, got out and helped the turtle cross. I found a spot near a grassy bank filled with water. While saving the turtle, I got to watch a momma duck and her ducklings cross the road.
Yep, I’m one of those crazies that will pull over and help an animal make it’s way to safety. Thankfully, it wasn’t one of those ginormous snapping turtles. I would’ve thought twice about picking up that one!
Next time you’re on the road, please pay attention and don’t run over the wildlife!
